About Susan
A highly engaging speaker, facilitator and consultant, Susan assists individuals and organizations to develop effective and lasting interventions that improve productivity and employee engagement.
As a Certified Emotional Intelligence Consultant and Master Trainer, Susan works with all levels of organizations to improve leadership, team and organizational effectiveness. She has assessed and coached CEO’s, executives, engineers, veterinarians, teams and individual employees in a wide variety of industries from hi-tech to healthcare. She regularly appears on Portland's KATU AM Northwest TV talk show discussing the application of emotional intelligence for personal growth.
As a speaker and facilitator, Susan employs a unique combination of skills to generate real learning with her personable style and warm humor. She quickly connects with her audience, creating an engaging and entertaining experience. Susan’s solid understanding of adult learning principles and cognitive psychology gives her a high degree of credibility and skill as a platform trainer and facilitator.
She is an adjunct professor at Marylhurst University where she teaches in the Communication Studies Department.
